Membership

Our facilities include super-fast WIFI, meeting rooms, collaborative workshop space, a library full of inspirational books and journals, chill-out gardens, repro equipment and giant ‘shared working’ whiteboards.

Membership guarantees unrivalled access to a long list of forthcoming events, workshops, talks, exhibitions and community projects. Members can use the prestigious 15 Queen Street as a trading address and will be entitled to discounts throughout the town.

Library Membership:
firstsite’s reference library is a specialist centre for contemporary art research. 15 Queen Street also accepts donations of other inspirational art and design titles in good condition from members of Colchester’s creative community.  The space offers two reading desks, comfortable chairs,
and computer access to the online catalogue.
Subscription: £5/month (inc VAT) - £30/year

Flexi Membership:
If you usually work from home or in a corporate environment, 15 Queen Street offers a flexible work space on an ad hoc basis. It’s a low-cost, shared space around like-minded creatives that provides a short sharp burst of inspiration. Whether it’s for an hour, a day or a week at a time, Flexi Membership gives affordable access to our incredible facilities, free entry to our events programme and the chance to be part of the local creative community.
Subscription: £15/month (inc VAT) – with desks @ £10 per day (your first day is free)

Resident Membership: 
For people who require something more permanent, our Resident Membership offers access to your very own desk space – 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, right in the heart of the town centre. Available on a month-by-month rolling contract, this membership is ideal for people wanting to make the transition from home office to a professional environment.
Subscription: £150/month (+VAT) – inc. your own designated desk space
