The commitment to our building

We can now guarantee that from September we’ll gain access to the second floor, previously occupied by MACE, who were project managing the building of the new firstsite premises.

With the opening of the firstsite and it’s fantastic meeting facilities we also no longer need to host a commercial meeting room service within the premises.

With that comes a new found freedom to make the space your own. With immediate effect we’d like to enlist your help to fundraise and make the following improvements to the building throughout our second year.

1. A new open plan reception area, combining the porch and existing flexi-room to create a front desk, members shop that doubles up as a space for informal meetings by day and workshops/creative events in the evening and weekends.
    
2. A new improved flexible hot-desking space with integrated library in the old meeting room.
   
   
3. White washed walls, improved ‘studio like flooring’ and fittings throughout the premises. ready for the residents to decorate as they decide and give the building the WOW factor.
   
   
4. Simple exterior facelift that ensures the building represents its members and partners to the best of its ability. Including the installation of an intercom on the front and rear doors for improved security.
