Fifteen Queen Street

Our 2nd Year Commitment

Robert LockAfter celebrating a ground breaking first year, we enter into what looks like is going to be an equally incredible second.

Our long term ambition is to help remove the boundaries that prevent local people from reaching their full creative potential.

To start fulfilling that mission, in year one, the partners set about using the fifteen Queen Street building to establish a creative community in Colchester. To that end we feel it’s been a great success - with over 30 members and a wider network, coming together on a regular basis to celebrate, nurture, share and support one another’s creative talent.

As well as the success, we’ve learned a lot too. We’ve taken the time to listen to your feedback and ideas around how fifteeen Queen Street can improve and better serve your needs…

Our second year is all about transferring ownership of the community over to you, the creatives that live, work and play in our home town.

This commitment can be broken down into three key areas, which you can see listed and explained on the links below. Everything you see on those pages is about making it easier for you to get more involved, share your ideas and help us grow.

1. Our Building

2. Our Events,

3. Our Memberhip Services.

With that new ownership comes a greater sense of responsibility for you, but also we hope, a greater potential for collective achievement and a genuine sense of reward.

Finally, if you think we’ve missed an opportunity or feel that your ideas haven’t been heard please email us at: hello@fifteenQueenStreet.org to arrange a time for a cup of tea and chat.
