Improving our Events

We promise to continue and improve our three monthly events, which we have come to be extremely proud of at fifteen Queen Street. Offering a selection of opportunities to meet like-minded creatives, we have a gathering for every type of person.

These events are Breakfast Club, Lunch Time Show Off, and the Creative in Colchester evening Meetups to be held on alternate Thursdays in our new downstairs space.

We want our events to inspire and be a catalyst that sparks conversation and collaboration that grows our local creative economy.

With infrastructure in place from the first year, our focus will shift to curating, fundraising and sourcing sponsorship to pay for inspirational speakers from further afield and providing local talent with the opportunities to push our perceived boundaries. 

We have left one of the Thursdays open in the hope that in our second year, members and residents will start to run their own events, workshops and gatherings. Part of our effort to encourage this includes making the hire of our open space free to members in evenings and on weekends (more information can be see here).
