Christmas Craft-tacular

We transformed fifteen Queen Street into a Christmas craft market on Saturday 10th December. Over ten artists took over the building showcasing their craft, skills, and passion. We had screen prints, jewellery, vintage clothing, vintage specs, artworks, and prints available for sale.

We would like to say a big thank you to everyone who participated:
Clare Sams
Adam Merchant & Carly Adams - The Essex Print Club
Katie Kennedy
Emily Turnbull - Madams Vintage Specs
Laura Fletcher
Tristan Howe
Mary Pullen
Lizzie Kevan
Andy Gibbs
Lee Thomas - The Gallery

Plus we would also like the thank Lee Pugh for providing cracking mince pies and mulled wine.
We’re hoping to run another Craft-tacular event in the New Year. Possibly an easter themed bonanza? Stay tuned for more in 2012. View more photos of the event here.

Wishing you a Merry Christmas.

Saturday 10th December
12 noon - 5pm
15 Queen Street, Colchester

On Saturday local creatives are opening fifteen Queen Street’s doors to house workshops and stalls for the Christmas Craft-tacular. Over ten artists will be taking over the building showcasing their craft, skills, and passion.
We will have screen prints, jewellery, vintage clothing, vintage specs, artworks, and prints available for sale. There will be a bar serving non alcoholic mulled wine and mince pies.
Join us to also enjoy workshops the artists will be hosting alongside their work. Get stuck in and enjoy a festive day at fifteen Queen Street.
The idea behind the fair was to celebrate Colchester and what it has on offer. As a hub we want to showcase the people and events going on in the town. Visit us and ensure you go to the other Christmas Fairs on the same say at the Minories and the Arts Centre. There are also free drop in Family Games at firstsite. You can spend the whole day enjoying a great day out in Colchester.
