Vintage Vintage Vintage
There’s a joy and warmth in buying vintage clothes and incorporating them into a modern day wardrobe. Colchester is full to the brim with retro ware fairs in the upcoming months.
Thought we’d send out a quick blog post showcasing two we’re looking forward to:

Organised by our resident member Katie Kennedy, follow her on twitter and join the facebook page to keep updated. Finger crossed the ruin doesn’t spoil the day. We’ll still be there supporting the Katie and enjoying Colchester Town lit up with the fair.

Junk Jamboree will be a fabulous indoor market held by the crafty Liz Cardy. Join the facebook page to share the event. If you’re interested in stall bookings and further info please email Liz.
Call for Vintage Sellers: Culver Square Vintage Fair
Our resident member Katie Kennedy is a designer and vintage clothing retailer. She’s been asked to organise a vintage fashion market/fair at Culver Square in Colchester town centre on Saturday 28th April, from 10am - 5pm.
She’s passed on the message as she is looking for vintage fashion stallholders to come and sell their stuff.
The idea of the event is to get students and customers down to the shopping centre on the day so I will be marketing the event widely but also at Essex University and Colchester Institute. As it takes place on a Saturday and it’s the end of the month, the footfall should be high in the town centre, there will be no entrance fee and should be a busy event.

PRICES:
If you are interested in having a stall please let Katie know asap and she will send you a booking form. There are only 14 stalls available and some of those have already gone. The cost per stall is £50 for one / £90 for two.

PLEASE NOTE!
Small market style stalls will be provided for traders (see photo) with an additional 2 x rails max allowed per trader (not provided) to sit at the sides of the market stalls.
Size of stall: 7 foot high (with roof), 6 foot 9” along and 4’ deep.
- No other display items or tables will be permitted for use on the day as space is limited.
- This event is for vintage sellers only - up cycled, reworked vintage fashion, men and women’s clothes, accessories are all fine.
- As this is an outdoor event, preparations will need to be taken in the event of bad weather. This is for individual traders to organise themselves so bring covers for rails and tarpaulins etc.
- No refunds will be issued in the event of poor weather.
If you have any questions give Katie a shout. Please forward this on to anyone you know who might be interested.
